Notes and anecdotes from the design world.
Hell no, seriously? No wonder college kids come away poorly educated. So many more possibilities than GaGa. What about Mmmbop by Hanson?
I kind of liked it better when youth culture wasn't mass culture.
Everytime I hear something GaGa-ish or Bieber-tastic or that Kanye guy, I'm glad that my radio is only tuned to sports talk stations. Music is terrible nowadays.
Get offa my lawn!
Oof. If I listen to radio at all it's either NPR, or the local college stations that play listenable stuff like Wilco, blues/reggae or local bands.Otherwise I'm working with Groove Salad on SOMAFM.com or Air or Thievery Corporation. You guys'd actually like that stuff, I bet.
Like what stuff? Poseur alt rock or dance-y pablum? I'm all classical all the time. If I want something upbeat I through on Elgar and get down!
"Get offa my lawn!" - I feel that way a lot these days.
You and me both sister, you and me both.
I don't like Miss Gaga - her antics, her costumes or her music. But this is really funny. Perfect on a college campus.
Julie: Lady GaGa's just the latest pop phenomenon to pass me by but I did think this was funny and oddly poetic.
Oh my! What next? -Brenda-
It'd be a hard one to top Brenda.
My husband is an Iowa State graduate. He's going to be so embarrassed.
Shame! How've you been Sharon?
Talk to me!
