Benjamin Franklin

If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten,
either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing
(Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanac)

  1. I have an affinity for good ol' Ben, maybe because I used to work at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. This quote is hanging on the bulletin board in my office.

  2. You worked at the Franklin Institute? Cool! That museum lit a fire in me as a kid that's never gone out. The Franklin Institute, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philly Zoo set me on a path to being a lifetime learner and I think that's the whole point of those places. My fondness for Philly stems from the Franklin influences that you can still feel all over that great city.
