Notes and anecdotes from the design world.
Thanks Paul! I love that you're a fan of our little country :-) Come visit us any time!
I need more than 48 hours in Toronto next time! I love this symphonic version of your national anthem by the way. Yours is the most stirring anthem in the world and hearing it played by an orchestra just makes it better. But maybe that's just me.
I adore this! Thanks for thinking of us and posting a little love for canada ;)
I write love letters to your country all the time, happy Canada Day!
Thank you, Paul!Listening to this beautiful version of our national anthem gave me goosebumps. Please come and visit Vancouver (all cleaned up after that nasty Stanley Cup riot) and my little town, Victoria.Happy 4th of July!
You are most welcome. Your anthem always gives me goosebumps but this is the most stirring version of it I've ever come across.
I watch the Olympics for the anthems!
I do too. I have been combing through YouTube and trying to find a symphonic version of "Advance Australia Fair," but alas I keep striking out. I did however, find the Sydney Symphony Orchestra playing Smetana's Ma Vlast. Oh I love that piece of music.
Apparently I was way too lazy over the long weekend to keep up with you blogging on my birthday! I have to agree with Denise, you do need to come out and visit the west coast here :)
Well I hope you had a great birthday and an enjoyable holiday weekend. I know, I know, I need to get out there.
Talk to me!
