Being able to accomodate large crowds at a notice but not dedicating a whole room to itinerate guests would be great. Thanks for sharing.laxsupermomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10797787877548962742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143843667296816868.post-33718787420696815942011-10-29T08:21:14.289-04:002011-10-29T08:21:14.289-04:00With two kids in college and two still at home, we...With two kids in college and two still at home, we are in the process of thinking about downsizing. Houses that we have considered are short on bedrooms so the thought of double use of space, not just dedicating it to a bedroom is a good concept. Also like the post above, need to look at the Danish mindset to get some other ideas.Minghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08251940281520458802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143843667296816868.post-89618209768543766982011-10-28T11:01:50.163-04:002011-10-28T11:01:50.163-04:00This is a very slick idea. But I must say, and I do say, that they are coming up with all kinds of wonderful ideas. In fact, I will be using one for my wife's office, as we will be able to hide a bed behind bookcases. And not only hide it, but hide it to such an extent that you don't even know it's there! I hasten to add that this is all ideas I've stolen from someone else, as I'm not clever enough to come up with something like that on my own. It's incredible what you can find on the Internet these days.Joe Freenorhttp://www.cft411.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143843667296816868.post-87861219104581959732011-10-28T08:42:35.493-04:002011-10-28T08:42:35.493-04:00I love this kind of thinking. Have you ever spent ...I love this kind of thinking. Have you ever spent much time with Danish furniture? Not the IKEA stuff or anything like that, but the real stuff that people use in their homes. Americans like furniture that is out there and big, etc. Danes are very good at space utilization. It is incredible how much crap they can pack into shelves that slide away out of sight. Anyway, this reminded me of that.Rufus Dogghttp://www.dogwalkblog.comnoreply@blogger.com
